Lumbago. Sciatica

Pain in the lumbar region or lumbago can also extend to the buttocks and pelvis. When pain is present for 6 months continually, it can be considered chronic.
Lumbago is a critical degree of lumbar pain, usually caused by a brusque movement of the spine, and usually disappears after a few weeks. It’s appearance is so sudden and the pain so intense, that the patient is prostrated.

Sciatica is an intense pain along the length of the sciatic nerve, due to damage or displacement of the intervertebral disc. The pain may be felt down the buttocks, thigh, knee and foot. It generally affects a single member and may accompany an attack of lumbago. The pain is so intense it impedes mobility and is aggravated by even the slightest movements.

One should never be in a hurry to operate on a disk. In 9 out of 10 cases, the disc recovers in less than 18 months, but long before that the hernia is sufficiently reduced for the pain to diminish.

We recommend session using the masster plus Foam Rotors, at low speed, during several days to achieve fast and lasting relief.

Pain in the lower back is often caused by a muscular contraction in the lower regions of the back caused by poor posture, repetitive movements, or over exertion. If lumbago recurs frequently, a series of massages may be required to relax the tense muscles.
