Advice from Fit4 Ever

A change in habit is needed to avoid back aches.

As we have seen, most back aches are caused by poor posture, and, as well as treatment or massage, the following steps should be taken to avoid the complaint:

Always rest your back on the chair back when sitting

Place the computer screen at eye level.

Swivelling chairs avoid forcing the back and damaging discs when reaching

Do not bend your back when lifting a weight. Bend your knees. This is also important when emptying the dishwasher, making the bed, picking up a child, etc.

Divide weights equally between both arms, for example when carrying shopping or suitcases.

Wear 3cm heel always. Alternating between high heels and flat shoes is bad for the back

The best sports are swimming, gymnastics and walking. Stretching and cycling are also good, providing the handlebars are high enough and the back not overly bent. However, sports which submit the back to shocks and compression (jogging, tennis, volleyball are not advisable unless you are under medical supervision.
